We are open every day except for Christmas Day (25th December). This includes all bank holidays.
Last entry is an hour before the closing time.
Once purchased, tickets are valid for one day of your choice within 6 months from the date of purchase.
You do not need to book a time slot or a day. We endeavour to admit all visitors and will prioritise online tickets and members on days we are very busy but due to the nature of the attraction's one way system this is a very rare occurrence.
Disabled and Carer Tickets:
One official carer is admitted free of charge with the person they support: proof of carer status (e.g. Carer's Card or Carer's Allowance letter, letter from GP) will be required on entry to the Aquarium in order for a free ticket to be issued.
Visitors using a wheelchair are entitled to a free carer ticket to support their visit around the Aquarium. For further information on the layout of the building please visit our Accessibility page.
Concession Family Tickets are for Two Concessions and Two Juniors. The concessions are for 65+
We do not have a discount for Armed Forces, NHS or Blue Light Holders at this time.
Once purchased you will receive a confirmation email with your reference number and barcode.
Bring the barcode on a phone or on paper and we can scan it at the ticket desk, we can also manually enter the reference number.
The address provided is your BILLING ADDRESS and so for security reasons this MUST be the same as the address your payment card is registered to. We do not post anything out to you.
