House Admissions & Bookable Events

If you are booking House admission tickets, the start time shown here is the site opening time and you may choose to arrive after this. Last admission is an hour before the advertised closing time. For our annual Gun Powder Plot day the performance times are 11am - 1pm and 1.30pm - 3.30pm, with the site open from 10.30am as usual.

If you are thinking of booking admission for a group of 10 or more people, please contact us on 01455 290 429 or e-mail 1620shouse@leics.gov.uk to qualify for a reduced admission price or the opportunity for a private visit.

If you are booking event tickets, in most cases, the time shown here is the event's start time, so please ensure that you arrive in good time before this, as we aim to start all events promptly. For most events, you will normally find that event doors open around 30 minutes before the start time here, allowing you the opportunity to buy snacks and refreshments if you wish. Please ensure you check our website for specific details relevant to the event you are booking, as these may be different.

Once you have paid an order confirmation with an attached e-ticket will be sent to your e-mail; please check your junk mail or spam box if this doesn't appear within a few minutes. The e-ticket also confirms the arrival time for your visit.
