Dive into a world of wonder at Hastings Aquarium!
Where children’s stories burst to life and every moment is
designed to captivate your baby’s senses. In partnership with Glow Storytime,
winner of Best Baby Class at the Essential Baby Awards 2025, each session
blends storytelling, sensory play, and gentle developmental support — all
thoughtfully created for little ones.
Every week, we explore a new children’s book through
immersive sensory activities inspired by the story’s theme, theatrical
performances, projection lighting, and enchanting light-up props that babies
adore. These activities nurture key developmental skills including
eye-tracking, early vocabulary, tactile exploration, and more. Also, our
sessions offer a calming, creative space for parents and carers to connect,
unwind, and enjoy quality time together.
First Tuesday of the month at 9:00am: Sessions for
newborns to sitting babies
Last Tuesday of the month at 9:00am: Sessions for
Crawlers and Walkers up to 2 years old
All of this takes place within a unique, illuminated sensory
room inside the Aquarium, crafted to inspire relaxation and spark curiosity —
plus, this ticket includes full-day access to explore the friendly creatures at
Hastings Aquarium with your little ones!
