Fifth-generation master baker and Real Bread Campaign Ambassador Giovanni Di Sarno will guide you through every step involved in the making a trio of loaves. From discussing ingredients and equipment to mixing, kneading, proving, shaping and baking, you’ll learn the techniques involved in creating cottage loaf, traditional bloomer and olive bread.
In addition to practical lessons, Giovanni will explain a theoretical grounding of expert baking including the chemistry of dough, the characteristics of flour and the evolution of bread making.
The workshop will take place in our fantastic gallery kitchen surrounded by our annual exhibition, and you will be provided with lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
