Our Forest School is a unique experience that offers participants the opportunity to succeed, explore and develop confidence through hands-on activities using natural resources outdoors. Family Forest School is a more relaxed drop-in style session where adults are a part of the fun and take an active role in sessions. This is great for children with special education needs or who need more support, as well as an opportunity for children and carers to learn together.
These sessions are not for unaccompanied children and each child will need a one-to-one or parent with them who will also take part in activities. Children are the accompanying adult’s responsibility. All participants (adult and child) need a ticket, as everyone is an active participant in the session.
All sessions are designed and led by trained Forest School practitioners.
Please ensure children are appropriately dressed for Forest School. Clothes should protect children from extremes of heat or cold, keep them covered to reduce the likelihood of cuts and scrapes and fit for comfort. Please be aware that in the woods it can often be cooler than expected.
