Discover Anglo-Saxon milling techniques with the learning team and try your hand at making your own historic flat breads and cooking them in our wood-fired bread oven. During this workshop you will be able to make three types of bread; a peasant bread made from pea and fava bean flour, ‘dredge’ using oats and barley and ‘maslin’ which mixes wheat and rye flour.
